This crumble topping recipe will cook to a lovely crunchy, golden topping. You only need four ingredients for this simple recipe, but you can use it to make any kind of crumble you like.

Ingredients
  

  • 75 g plain flour
  • 75 g jumbo rolled oats
  • 100 g butter unsalted
  • 50 g demerara sugar

Instructions
 

  • Cut the butter into cubes and place in a mixing bowl with the flour.
  • Rub the butter into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  • Add the sugar and oats and combine well.
  • Use to top fruit to make a fruit crumble for example.
