Ingredients
- 400 g Lean Minced Beef A little fat is good as it will cook out flavouring the burger and keeping it moist
- 1 handful Fresh parsley leaves Chopped
- 1 tbsp Worcester Sauce
- 2 Banana shallots Finely diced
- 2 Clove Garlic Finely diced
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 Egg yolk
- Salt and Pepper
- 50 g Fresh white breadcrumbs Optional
Instructions
- Prepare the shallots and garlic. Saute gently in a little oil to soften.
- Put all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Add breadcrumbs if the mixture is a little wet.
- Cook a little bit off and check the seasoning, adjust as necessary.
- Divide into 4 and roll into balls. Press into burger shapes by hand.
- Cook for 10 minutes in a frying pan or on the flat plate of a BBQ, turning once during cooking, ensuring the burgers are cooked through - they could be served medium well done, but you should really ensure that the centre of the burger reaches a minimum of 70 degrees celsius.
- Serve with your favourite burger accompaniments.
