Well, travel has been impossible this time around. Nobody's fault, but none the less frustrating. I have built a foodie travel blog site but I don't have anything to write about! In the interests of posting something, this article is going to cover some of the dishes I have cooked for us in the caravan over this lockdown.
As the country goes into lockdown No. 3, I take a look at what difference it makes on a popular Westcountry beach.
The COVID-19 pandemic has prevented us from travelling this year. Nobodys’ fault, but no less frustrating for all that. We were originally planning to cross into France at the end of September for 6 months and take in Spain and Portugal as well. We were then going to return to Blackpool Sands for the summer season 2021 before venturing off further afield next autumn. However, we have taken the decision to stay where we are until things have settled down to something approaching normality. Now, of course, the Brexit deal is done. Travelling around Europe presents a whole new set of challenges for us.
The story of our summer on the beach at Blackpool Sands. We met some fantastic people and some not so fantastic. What a stunning place to be, and the weather was exceptional.
We had always planned on travelling. So what do you do? You stick two fingers up to the world and say up yours – I’m going travelling! That’s the (crazy?) decision we made!
