A versatile soy dipping sauce with a slightly sweet and tangy flavour.

Soy Dipping Sauce
A versatile dipping sauce with a slightly sweet and tangy flavour

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 4 tbsp Light soy sauce
- 4 tbsp Water
- 4 tbsp Rice vinegar or distilled vinegar
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
- 10 g Shallots very finely diced
- ½ tsp Chilli flakes
- ½ tsp Minced garlic
- ½ tsp Minced ginger
- ½ tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Spring onion
- ½ tsp Toasted sesame seeds
- Fresh coriander Optional
Instructions
- Mix the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, water and lime juice in a bowl and stir until dissolved.
- Mix in the remaining ingredients except the sesame seeds and coriander.
- Transfer to a serving dish and scatter on the sesame seeds and coriander (if using).
